the secondary hard disk died yesterday. meaning i lost all my files. dad is in the process of recovering it. *crosses fingers* To kang and creole and the other people i promised to give a copy of KKM, cross your fingers, too. Hopefully i'd get them all back.
now, i feel all bad and angsty and really really awful. all my ad-foto files have gone with the hard disk. i dont want to fucking fail ad-foto, but how would i pass with two late submissions? damn my fucking luck.
this is the crap i get for being too cheerful. -__-; now go leave me alone while i kill myself.

Part 5: Conclusion, Evaluation, What have yew.
I had a vision of an advanved computer-based classroom which uses a virtual environment to stimulate the learning. It uses advanced technology, which might not even be discovered in the next fifty years. The advanced technology incorporates in the classroom some of the major learning philosophies. Moslow's priority triangle appeared in the structure of The Classroom. Classmate Interactivity and the Security measures are some of it's implementations. John Dewey's hands on learning is also applied since the virtual environment provides the students and the teachers all teh materials they need.
This computer based classroom provides an effective learning environment for the student, enabling him/her/what have you to acquire knowledge & retain them easily. Hopefully, this vision of mine will be realised in the future. ^^;

See, there are some subjects where you need to be in a traditional classroom andeat chalkdust listen to the teacher drone tell the lesson and write stuff down. [I learnt this at Multmed ^^ Thank you Sir Jinno!]. There are some classes which multimedia and it's applications arent well suited for an environment like The Classroom's. Most or all math subjects arent.

Tools of the Trade [Or however you call them]
Visual Goggles. What would the room become without them? They're the key to getting in the Virtual Classroom, making it a vital part of the room's functioning. Okay, so these goggles are attatched at the top of the room's chairs. The chairs are somewhat like recliners and they're very comfy. The goggles are pulled down over the user's head. Once on, the sensors on the goggles toggle it and the software boots itself up and sends teh user to the virtual classroom. Simple, ne?
Memory Note-taking. Basically, this is a software that allows the student to easily remember the lessons that took place in t3h virtual classroom. Remember the floating words? Not only do they float, the students have the option to save those words, or the whole lesson if they wanted to, to their memory. I wish we had this already.. Studying would be easier. ^^;

I almost forgot about this while I was doing my new blog layout. ^^;;
Anyways, here's part two for...
the classroom
Drawbacks:
Well, someone pointed out classmate interaction. Ruling out talking in class, passing notes and other "illegal" stuff, yes, there is classmate interaction. Don't forget that a class isn't a class without groupworks. Sure, Individual study would sometimes be nice, but wouldn't it also be better if you have someone to work with? Sure, it's a virtual environment, but that's the whole point. Instead of the group going to different places to waste time and money buying materials, the materials they need are provided for virtually. These items are stored in the main virtual system's memory. Also, the groups don't have to go to a museum or a park to look at animals and watch them in their habitat. The virtual system brings the animals to them. ^^;
Another drawback is that, what if there's a power outage during a class? Wouldn't that make the students and the teachers Brain dead or something? Actually, no. Assuming that we have super advanced technology that is.. o.0 Think DT Eightron's Pile System. The person's brain, including memories, genetic info, and all that jazz, gets saved into the virtual system, thus making a back-up just in case that a power-out does happen. Don't you just love Biotechnology? Anyways, to support that, the virtual room is always cooled in a way that the coldness of the virtual room is kept even if the power-out lasts billions of years. Also, to preven anyone from violating the person logged in teh virtual world, once a session starts, no one is allowed to enter. That way, latecomers are lessened. ^^; Or is that too harsh?

Im working on a new layout, and it's 70% done. I have to fix some scripts and stuff. ^^; That and I'm experimenting on it. Expect Apocripha/0 and shounen ai. ^o^ Anyway, will be posting two more 'the classroom' stuffage later. I need to get my ideas right and clear out some stuffage. I need feedback on it, though. ^^;
Anyways, will be very busy this term. We have a new photography assignment every week, and they're all hard and stuff, especially if you want to get good criticisms from our professor. ^^; Part of our grade comes from good criticism. That and we have project after project. And I need to learn how to use flash. Immediately. Multmed demands so. We need a flash project to advertise Oakley shades. >.>
Right. I have to go off and work now. ^^;

Tecchy, tecchy, tecchy! Part 1

Okay, so we're supposed to cook up a future type of intructional systems technology classroom and put it in a blogger account. Since I already haveoodles of blogs at blogger one, i thought i'd put it up here. ^^ Oh, and this is gonna be a five-parter, 'cause it's kinda required to have five posts. ^^
Aaaaaaaaaaaaanyways, onward, ho! *cracks whip and hits Kanoe in the eye*

Lame-o Title, yes, but hey, doesn't it scream "poke me and be curious"? ^o^
I shall now tell you of my vison.. A vision of a futuristichellhole classroom. We all know what The Beast, is, right? Okay, for those who DON'T know, the Beast is this supercomputer that interacts with the user who is connected to the computer Matrix-style. Okay, so my ideal classroom is based on the concept of The Beast. No, no, no.. Don't be scared. It won't have diverse effects on the mind and would make you go out with a 28++ year old blonde who works for the civil registry. And it won't certainly make you go loony and side with the Dragons of Earth, crazy nuts. I said it was only BASED on the CONCEPT of The Beast, not the whole being of The Beast. Sheesh. Anyway, moving on. The physical classroom IS the computer, and the students will just have to sit down on their chairs and hook themselves up onto the main computer/classroom system through these visors/visual goggles found above their chairs. Then voila! They're virtually connected to the computer/classroom system. Lessons would be explained easier since the virtual reality of the classroom system is able to create the effect that the real material is there, thus allowing full interaction between the student and the material. Whatever 'material' it was. [note: Oooh, wouldn't this be fun if Ragnarok Online, or any other MMORPG for that matter, would be implemented with this technology?!?! ^o^] Moving on, does any of you remember that "Ask Dr. Whoever-He-Was" in the movie AI? That old virtual man who reminded me of The Colonel from KFC.. ^^; yeah. Lessons would be like that: the important keywords and important facts will float out as virtual words/whatever you want to call them, so that the student would understand. Also, this prevents the student from doing anything not related to the class since the overall control is with the teacher.

Whoo~~

Just added 40gig more to my pc last night. Now I can play pRO again! Whoo! *jumps around*
Oh, and yea.. I can get a laptop. In December. If I turned into a mindless zombie, that is. >.> Chyeah right. T_T
Here's what i posted at my devArt:
XD Ooh, yes. spoilerage. I have just watched Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban and it was soooooooooooooooooooooo... soo... so better than the last two. XD It was good, yes, very good, but it didn't quite follow the plot.. I mean, it started at Chapter Two, instead of chapter one.. And the pacing was kinda too fast.. Oh, and ending it with Dan Radcliffe's blurred out face was kinda.. err.. ^^; I loved the dog. The big black thin dog. He was cute. ^o^ The werewolf sucked, and they should've hired the Nazgul to play the part of Dementors. Story-wise, this was closest to the book. I was expecting Marge to be a bit bigger, tho.. ^^; Oh, and I wondered why footprints in the snow that suddenly appeared didn't scare people.. Or at least made them suspicious.. Ooh, and Hermione you silly little beeyatch you, punch Draco again and I swear it's the last thing you do! Oh, speaking of Draco, I think he ran out of gel. XD He *does* look better without gel, tho. :love: Ron was super glompable. :glomp: He was just sooo adorable~ And Dumbledore was vibrant.. Sirius Lupin gots a great actor.. Ooh, and i was like giggly when Snape told Sirius and Lupin to stop acting like a married couple!!! XD
Anyways, it was a fun movie. ^^ Glad I watched it. Alone. Muahahahaha!
