Went to Sangley Point in Cavite yesterday. It was fun. The food sucked though. >.> Bleh. I got to board a real live navy ship!! Whoo!! But t3h evil greenish water scared the hell out of me >.o And I didn't even notice that the ship was rockin'.. o.0 There were two ships we boarded. BRP Emilio Jacinto (PS35) and the really really big one with the helipad, BRP Dagupan City. I forgot the code thing for that. *w* I loved t3h helipad. It was so windy there.. But it takes hell to get up on there. The bridge was cool. It had this funky coffeemaker. And it smelled like Tic Tac, too. xD And they had a mini TV! No cable though. ^^;

But this post isn't about me, really. It's about what I think of what's currently happening at our batch student council or whatever you wanna call it.

So it's the freshmen elections this week, right? And then this really crazy shit happens. Santugon and Tapat are the only two political parties in DLSU, and yes, ther is the rivalry. But up to what extent does this rivalry go to? backstabbing perhaps? making the freshmen candidates look miserable? Pointing fingers and calling names? Kicking people in the groin? Blackmailing? What?

I dont really like politics, but the people involved here are friends of mine. Oo, kahit hindi kami ganun ka-close, magkaibigan pa rin kami.

All I want to say is, stop your nonesense bullshit and cut the crap. What Mico did to Gox was bad, and you all know it. And yeah, I still think na plastic yung letter na ginawa ni Mico. And I don't frickin care what you say. I'm not a member of either party, you can even check their records if you want.

Bah. To hell with this. This is the reason why I never liked politics anyway.

Education and Technology should be able to work hand in hand, especially now that we are in the technological age.
 
There are a few things we need to look out for. Networking is a plus in education today. The internet would be like this really really big and extensive library thing so that students wont have to grovel in real libraries and get lost in the way just looking for a book in a certain topic.  Another thing is visualization. The sense of sight is like the culmination of all the senses, and there's also a saying that seeing is believing. Interfaces would also help in educational technology. Not only would it be an andvancement in technology, but it would also help in the facilities needed for education. Artificial Intelligence would also be a big help. Self-Explanatory, really. ^^ Finally, what would all these wouldnt be possible if we didnt have the equipment to use them with. :D

But that doesnt just stop with technology. We also have to look into the people who handle the education: the teachers. The teachers should be knowledgeable in teh subject they are teaching and in teh technology they use. Also, with the availability of the internet meaning a more broad classroom, the teacher should at least learn a few different languages to be able to interact with students and teachers aroudn the world.

...i did say i promised i wouldn't torture artoo with yaoi, but that doesnt mean i should stop craving for it. ne? ^^
